October 14th to October 21st
Have you ever strolled along the harbour while on holiday gazing at the beautiful yachts, wondering what it would be like to stay on one. Well come and find out. Join us in the marina aboard our luxury 57’ Oyster sailing yacht with all the comforts and more of a shore based apartment. With air conditioning at the touch of a button and the crisp clean linen of a hotel this is an experience rarely on offer.
Gather a group of friends together or bring the family. This is a holiday to suit an eclectic mix of sailors and land lubbers. We understand that charging along at some 45 degree angle while trying to drink a cup of coffee is not everyones idea of fun! With this in mind we will base ourselves at the beautiful Marina Rubicon. Its smart and upmarket with a great choice of bars, boutique shops and restaurants. There is a lovely vibe both day and night and is without a doubt our favourite location in the Canaries. From here you can hire a car and explore as the island has much to offer.
When not away exploring why not let us take you round to a beautiful beach only a 7 minute motor along the coast. Even the most reticent of sailors can join us as we drop anchor. Simply lie on our sundeck, swim in the cool clear waters, or be ferried ashore by dingy for a day on the beach.
But this is a holiday for everyone so for those who want to set the sails, be they experienced or complete novice, then let us head out some days for a few hours and show you what a true bluewater ocean going yacht is capable of. Feel free to leaving your less enthusiastic fellow travellers to have their own adventure a shore.
Suggested Itinerary
To include all breakfasts, 4 lunches and 4 evening meals.
Saturday 14th October Arrive 4pm. Canapes and rum punch await. Enjoy an evening meal aboard and watch the bustle of the marina from a new perspective.
Sunday 15th October After breakfast lets motor up the coast to the beautiful Playa Mujeres beach. Eat lunch aboard or let us make you a picnic and ferry you ashore. Returning home to our berth grab a cocktail at one of the many bars before savouring the local fare at one of several restaurants
Monday 16th October Take a day tour on the Lanzarote Volcano South Tour. See stunning beaches and coastlines,, volcanoes, lunar like landscape and enjoy wine tasting. Return back to the cool comfort of Asante and enjoy an evening meal aboard.
Tuesday 17th October Perhaps this is the day to get the sails up. We can head out and let you become part of the team. Be involved as much or as little as you want. Experience what very few do. Life on an ocean going yacht. In the evening ring the changes and sample another restaurant ashore
Wednesday 18th October Its market day in the marina concourse. Wander the narrow streets and admire the diversity of the stalls. Maybe take a day out on the Ranch Texas Tour. With a live dolphin show, bird of prey show and see lion show along with a splash park, pool and waterslides this promises to be a truly fun day out. An evening meal will be ready and waiting for you.
Thursday 19th October Another day of sailing perhaps? Maybe you ‘got the bug’ the first time and want to practice your new found skill or simply feel the need to get the wind in your hair.
A last chance to savour an evening meal ashore.
Friday 20th October The chances are there is something during the week you want to do again. Visit your favourite coffee shop? Go sailing? Head round the corner and lie on the beach. The choice is yours. Let us entertain you one last time with an evening meal and farewell rum punch.
